The island of Phuket in the Indian Ocean is known as «the pearl of Thailand». Many consider the island to be a heavenly resort area and as many as 2 million tourists from all over the world visit Phuket every day. Some of them are drawn to the area by the long beaches that stretch across the island’s west coast and others by its natural tropical beauty and the country’s national flavour. There is a whole kaleidoscope of things to try out in Phuket – from scuba diving to tasting fried crickets. RTG TV host Igor Vukolov went scuba diving in the Andaman Sea and gave eating insects a try.
