When people think of Russian cuisine, they immediately think of dishes such as borsch, a wide variety of pickled vegetables and often blini (thin pancakes). It would be a bit unfair however for Russian cuisine to take all of the credit for this popular dish as there are many variations of it found all over the world. Nevertheless, in Russia alone there are more than one hundred recipes for what many believe to be a relatively simple dish. RTG TV host Nadezhda Lebedeva visited the Blini Domik café (Pancake House), where she was introduced to several traditional recipes used to make this tasty treat.
